RETURN POLICY

ORDERS AND RETURNS

 

CARDIO CHOC will only accept returns if the merchandise is returned in its original packaging, has not been used and is in good condition. The customer who wants to return merchandise must contact CARDIO CHOC customer service. The transport costs will be the responsibility of the customer. A 40% "restocking" charge for returned merchandise will be levied.

 

All returned merchandise will be inspected and in the event that the merchandise is unusually worn or damaged, CARDIO CHOC will categorically refuse to take back the merchandise.

 

No returns will be accepted on special order products.

 

No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.

 

Refunds made on purchases by credit card or check may take up to 10 business days from the date of receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise. No cash refund will be made.

 

The website and the merchandise offered are provided as is. Subject to any public order legislation to the contrary, CARDIO CHOC disclaims all liability and gives no warranty other than that specifically given herein. In addition, CARDIO CHOC makes no representations relating to the use, downloading, validity, accuracy or reliability of the goods reproduced on the website or as to the results arising from the use of the goods purchased. Although CARDIO CHOC does everything in its power to ensure that the website contains no errors, CARDIO CHOC declines all responsibility for any error that may be found on the website, in particular with regard to descriptions, prices and illustrations. CARDIO CHOC its directors, officers, employees, representatives or agents can in no way be held responsible for any damage directly or indirectly related to the use of the website, in particular the loss of profit resulting from the use of the website, goods purchased or the inability to use such goods.

 

SECURE PAYMENT

 

All purchases are made in Canadian dollars. CARDIO CHOC accepts the following payment methods for any purchase on its website:

* Note that if you opt for payment by check, the products will be held pending payment. For commercial customers who have an account with us, the merchandise will be sent and CARDIO CHOC will await the check according to the agreement provided by the two parties concerned.

 

Customers with an accepted credit will be able to order freely and directly from the Website and merchandise will be shipped provided the customer's credit history remains satisfactory.

 

CARDIO CHOC reserves the right to block transactions if the customer has:

o One or more unpaid invoices for more than 60 days;

o A bad payment history;

o A change in credit status.

 

Payment will be collected immediately at the time the order is placed.

 

The merchandise will not be delivered until CARDIO CHOC has received full payment for this merchandise, including taxes and shipping costs.

 

If we do not have all or part of your order in reserve, we will wait until we have all ordered products before sending your order. If the customer needs his goods quickly, we can send him part of his order, but the customer will therefore have to pay two transport costs. In the event that CARDIO CHOC is unable to deliver the order or part of it to you, the order will be automatically canceled after 60 days and you will receive a refund accordingly (unless CARDIO CHOC has notified you by email to inform you of a delivery date after 30 days).

 

CARDIO CHOC can in no way be held responsible for any damage that you may suffer due to a break in the goods.

 

TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY

 

All freight and delivery charges, as well as applicable sales taxes, are in addition to the price displayed on the website. In order to serve you better, make sure that the information submitted when creating your account is correct, that is to say in particular, that there are no grammatical errors and that the address is complete so that CARDIO CHOC can provide you with the price that applies to your location.

 

CARDIO CHOC makes its deliveries through Parcelz. Make sure you provide all the required information so that the delivery is done properly. The delivery time (after notification) can be 5 to 10 working days, for most major metropolitan centers. Delivery time for rural or remote areas may be longer or require customer to take possession at a point of service. Any additional delivery charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

 

All merchandise shipped by CARDIO CHOC is insured and the risks inherent in transport and delivery will be insured by CARDIO CHOC. For information purposes only, Purolator automatically insures merchandise based on the value of your merchandise.

 

Any order placed from a location in Canada designated as an outlying area will be reviewed by our staff and you will be notified of any additional delivery costs before we ship the merchandise.

 

Merchandise prices exclude applicable taxes, shipping and insurance costs. Delivery costs are designated by Purolator, in which case additional charges * may apply. You will be notified of any additional costs before your order is processed.

 

* Note that merchandise exceeding 150 lbs (68 kg) is not automatically picked up by the carrier, so the price displayed may not be accurate. In all cases, a CARDIO CHOC customer service representative will contact you to give you the amount of the delivery costs.

 

Note also that additional charges automatically apply for the transport of so-called dangerous goods such as portable oxygen cylinders and certain batteries for personal protective equipment.

 

GUARANTEES

 

The guarantees on the goods purchased are the sole responsibility of the manufacturers of said goods. CARDIO CHOC will act as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the customer, when possible.

 

All merchandise must be inspected upon receipt and, in the event of breakage or other damage, the customer must immediately notify CARDIO CHOC. In the event that the merchandise is defective, please notify CARDIO CHOC's customer service department immediately, which will tell you what to do.

 

The transport costs of the defective merchandise are assumed by CARDIO CHOC as the case may be. Delivery times and costs may vary depending on the destination of the shipment, the delivery method chosen and the availability of products. Delivery times are estimated from the time the products leave the establishment.
