ORDERS AND RETURNS
CARDIO CHOC will only accept returns if the merchandise is in its original packaging, has not been used and is in good condition. Customers wishing to return merchandise must contact CARDIO CHOC’s customer service department to obtain authorization from a staff member. In all cases, the customer must present proof of purchase before any procedure is initiated. Transport costs will be the responsibility of the customer. A restocking fee of 40% of the returned goods will be charged.
All returned merchandise will be inspected and in the event that the merchandise is abnormally worn or deteriorated, CARDIO CHOC will categorically refuse to take back the merchandise.
No returns will be accepted on special order products.
No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.
Refunds on purchases made by credit card or cheque may take up to 10 working days from the date of receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise. No cash refunds will be made.
The website and the goods offered are provided “as is”. Subject to any public legislation to the contrary, CARDIO CHOC disclaims all liability and makes no warranty other than that specifically given herein. Furthermore, CARDIO CHOC makes no representations regarding the use, downloading, validity, accuracy or reliability of merchandise reproduced on the website or as to the results to be obtained from the use of merchandise purchased. Although CARDIO CHOC makes every effort to ensure that the website is error-free, CARDIO CHOC assumes no responsibility for any errors that may appear on the website, including descriptions, prices and illustrations. In no event shall CARDIO CHOC, its directors, officers, employees, representatives or agents be liable for any damages whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from the use of this website, including without limitation, any lost profits resulting from the use of this website, the goods purchased or the inability to use such goods.
SECURE PAYMENT
All purchases are made in Canadian currency. CARDIO CHOC accepts the following methods of payment for all purchases on its website:

*Please note that if you choose to pay by cheque, products will be held pending payment. For commercial customers who have an account with us, the merchandise will be sent and CARDIO CHOC will wait for the cheque according to the agreement between the two parties involved.
Customers with credit acceptance will be able to order freely and directly on the Website and merchandise will be shipped provided the customer’s credit record remains satisfactory.
CARDIO CHOC reserves the right to block transactions if the customer has :
- One or more invoices unpaid for more than 60 days;
- Poor payment history;
- A change in credit status.
Payment will be collected immediately when the order is placed.
Merchandise will not be delivered until CARDIO CHOC has received full payment for the merchandise, including taxes and shipping charges.
If we do not have all or part of your order in stock, we will wait until we have all the products ordered before sending your order. If the customer needs the goods quickly, we can send part of the order, but the customer will have to pay two shipping costs. In the event of CARDIO CHOC is unable to deliver the order or part of it, the order will be automatically cancelled after 60 days and you will receive a refund accordingly (except if CARDIO CHOC has notified you by e-mail of a delivery date later than 30 days).CARDIO CHOC cannot be held responsible for any damage you may suffer as a result of an out-of-stock condition.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All shipping and delivery charges, as well as applicable sales taxes, are in addition to the price displayed on the website. In order to serve you better, please make sure that the information submitted at the time of creating your account is correct, i.e., that there are no grammatical errors and that the address is complete so that CARDIO CHOC can provide you with the price that applies to your geographical location.
CARDIO CHOC ships via Purolator, Canada Post or your choice of carrier. Be sure to provide all the information required for proper delivery. Delivery time (after notification) can be 5 to 10 working days for most major metropolitan centers. Delivery times for rural or remote areas may be longer, or may require customer pick-up at a service point. Any additional delivery charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
All goods shipped by CARDIO CHOC are insured and the risks inherent in transport and delivery will be insured by CARDIO CHOC. For information purposes only, Purolator automatically insures merchandise based on its value.
Any order placed from a location in Canada designated as off-centre will be reviewed by our staff and you will be advised of any additional shipping costs before we proceed with shipment.
Prices of goods exclude applicable taxes, delivery and insurance costs. Delivery costs are designated by Purolator, in which case additional charges* may apply. You will be informed of any additional costs before your order is processed.
1. Package returned by carrier
If your package is returned to our warehouse by the carrier for any reason, we will contact you to inform you of the situation.
2. Forwarding costs
In accordance with our policy, if the package is returned by the carrier due to an error or omission on your part, such as an incorrect address, unavailability for pick-up, or any other problem beyond our control, the cost of reshipment will be your responsibility.
3. Correct information
We encourage you to verify and provide accurate shipping information when ordering to minimize the risk of delays or package returns by the carrier.
*Please note that merchandise exceeding 150 lb (68 kg) is not automatically picked up by the carrier, so the price shown may not be exact. In all cases, a CARDIO CHOC customer service representative will contact you with the shipping cost.
Note also that additional charges automatically apply to the transportation of so-called dangerous goods, such as portable oxygen cylinders and certain batteries for personal protective equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: **SHIPMENTS WITH LIQUIDS**
Liquids damaged in transit are not covered by courier insurance policies.
Cardio Choc will not take responsibility for liquids damaged in transit..
WARRANTIES
Warranties on merchandise purchased are the sole responsibility of the manufacturers of said merchandise. CARDIO CHOC will act as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the customer whenever possible.
All goods must be inspected on receipt and, in the event of breakage or other damage, the customer must immediately notify CARDIO CHOC. In the event of defective merchandise, please notify our Customer Service Department immediately. CARDIO CHOC who will tell you how to proceed.
CARDIO CHOC will assume the cost of transporting the defective merchandise, as the case may be. Delivery times and costs may vary according to the destination of the shipment, the delivery method chosen and product availability. Delivery times are estimated from the moment the products leave our premises.
