The HeartSine Samaritan PAD Training System with Remote Control is a non-shocking training device designed for instructing students in the operation of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). It is offered in a semi-automatic version, mirroring the real HeartSine Samaritan 350P AED.
Product details
The updated training pads are compatible with all training manikins and have been improved for easier placement back on the liner. They feature a cable rewind mechanism, reducing the time needed to reset the system. Additionally, the included charger/power supply enables operation via battery or A/C current. LEDs indicate charging status when not in use and remaining battery life during operation, with up to one hour of runtime.
Included in the package are the HeartSine Samaritan Training Defibrillator, a carry case, trainer power supply/charger, 5 pairs of training adhesives, HeartSine Samaritan Trainer Pads with Cable Rewind, a remote control with batteries, a user manual, and a quick reference card.
Key features of the trainer include a rechargeable battery providing up to 7 hours of use on a single charge, with a 4-hour recharge time. It comes pre-loaded with 6 scenarios and can be programmed in 29 languages. The software is aligned with the American Heart Association (AHA) G2010 Guidelines.
