Simply plug our 6-foot cable connector into your vehicle’s cigarette-lighter socket. The pre-set thermostat and 20 W heater ensure optimal protection, even at temperatures below −30 °C.

The case comes with a weather-resistant 6-foot power cable designed to withstand extreme sub-zero temperatures. This high-quality cable is equipped with a 10 A fuse and a corrosion-resistant Marinco adapter, designed to plug into a 12 V cigarette-lighter receptacle. The green indicator light on the Marinco connector shows when the power source is active.

At the other end of this flexible, insulated cable is a high-quality nickel-plated zinc Neutrik connector that locks securely into the professionally installed and sealed Neutrik receptacle on the case lid.

Align the three pins of the male and female Neutrik connectors and push firmly until the male connector’s locking mechanism clicks into place. To disconnect, press the release tab and unplug.

When both ends of the cable are connected and the temperature drops below 4 °C, the internal thermostat closes, and the heater maintains the temperature above freezing, up to a maximum of 11 °C. The case is designed to draw only a small amount of power (just 2 A/hour when the thermostat is closed) from your battery depending on environmental conditions. As a precaution, be aware that prolonged use without recharging may drain the battery.

Additional safety precautions: ensure a secure 12 V power supply. For optimal operation, avoid using the product in an explosive environment or submerging the unit while it is connected to a power source. Although the case is water-resistant, it is not guaranteed to be waterproof. If submersion occurs, fully inspect the case before using it again and reconnecting it to a power source.
