Expertise rooted in the field
Since 2012, Jean-Simon has worked in the field of defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. His background combines training in pre-hospital care, hands-on field experience and in-depth knowledge of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
Before specializing in defibrillators, he completed an internship of about four months with Urgences-santé, then worked part-time for two years with CETAM and Ambulances Demers.
This experience gave him a concrete understanding of emergency situations and of how important it is to have quick access to equipment that is reliable, easy to use and well maintained.
Over 14 years of experience with defibrillators
Jean-Simon has worked in the defibrillator industry since 2012. Over the years, he has developed expertise covering the various AED models, their features, their use and the needs of organizations looking to equip themselves.
Now General Manager of Cardio Choc, he helps make defibrillators more accessible to businesses, organizations and communities across Canada.
For him, buying a defibrillator should not be limited to choosing a device. You also need to consider where it will be used, how it will be maintained and whether the people on site are able to respond in an emergency.
Training at the heart of his career
Holder of an Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in pre-hospital care from Collège Ahuntsic, Jean-Simon has also been an instructor for Heart & Stroke since 2012.

He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), with a concentration in human resources, from Université de Sherbrooke.
