Non-woven sterile compresses - 100 units
Sterile non-woven gauze pads, sold in packs of 100. They are used to clean, absorb and protect wounds.
The non-woven fabric is soft, absorbent and leaves few fibres in the wound. Each pad is made of 4 plies, giving good thickness to absorb blood or fluids.
Choosing a size: 2 in x 2 in (5 cm x 5 cm) for small wounds and fingers; 3 in x 3 in (7.5 cm x 7.5 cm) for most cuts and scrapes; 4 in x 4 in (10 cm x 10 cm) for larger wounds or heavier bleeding.
How to use: wash your hands or wear gloves, clean the wound, place the pad without touching the surface that will contact the skin, then secure it with medical adhesive tape or roller gauze. For a deep wound or one that bleeds heavily, call 911 or see a health care professional.
